FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1. What are the electrical requirements?
A: Our equipment runs on normal household circuits (110V). Our INFLATABLES are inflated by the use of what is commonly termed “blowers”. Each “blower” requires it’s own separate circuit. Refer to the ride overview sheet to find out how many blowers are required. Usually, one blower per ride requiring one separate circuit..

Q2. What are the most popular attractions?
A: 28’ Inflatable Slide, because it is our largest most colorful leading money maker. Clarence the Caterpillar, the kid’s love it and it makes great money.

Q3. “What is the profit margin on renting these attractions?”
A: The rides themselves are the attraction to your venue.  They are not the profit makers in most carnivals. Your food sales, raffles, donations, booksales and game revenue should at least equal and in most cases be more than the ride gross revenue.

Q4. “When should we rent a carnival ride as an attraction versus as a money maker?”
A: In most cases it does not make sense to spend $3,000 on a 45’ Ferris Wheel for 6 hrs that can only take in $300 per hour ($1,800).

Q5. “Do we have insurance?”
A. Yes, we have 1 million dollar coverage which you can be added as an “additional Insured” certificate holder for the period of your event at no extra charge. Our insurance is through Scottsdale, recognized as the best in our business.

Q6. “Do your rides come with attendants?”
A: Yes, all of our attendants are dressed in referee uniforms and are trained on how to set up, tear down and operate the equipment.

Q7. What are ways to create extra income?
A: Get sponsors for the rides and give them signage opportunities, Pre-sale ride tickets through the neighborhood youth groups, schools, churches, girl’s & boy’s club’s and other non-profit organization’s. Hold raffles on the day, have Food Concessions, Rummage Sale, rent out spaces for arts & crafts booths etc.

Q8.  Does Family Entertainment have your small birthday bounces?

A: No, we do not provide small birthday bounces, we do have The World’s  

Largest Bounce that is available for small parties as well as large.

Q9.   Are we able to set up the day before or early setup?

A: Yes, we can accommodate a day before set-up if there is a fence in area available or if a security guard is placed. There is a small fee for labor coverage only. We also will do early-set up, if it is more than two hours prior to your event a small fee will be added.

Q10.  Are we able to provide a Certificate of Insurance?

 A:  Yes, we can carry you as an additional Insured, simply fax JT Lake Insurance

 @916-338-3622  for your  request, after your event has been booked.   You must add your Company Name, event location address, date of your event, and a fax# so

they can fax and mail a copy to you.

Q11.  Do we rent our tabletop food machines with supplies?

A: Yes, we can supply any one of our machines, typically it would cost around $50 for up to a hundred guests including the cost of the rental.

Q12.   How large are your game booths? And do your game booth come with attendants?                           

A:  Our game booths are 10’ x 10’ and usually does not come with attendants,

 However we do offer an attendant at an additional cost.

Q13. How many tables and dealers do I need for a party of 50?100?200?

1. We’ll help you determine what you need. It  varies by the type of party, the length of time and who is attending.

Q.14 How long do I book for?

1. 4 hours is included in our standard fees for equipment and dealers. Additional time is allowed an a small fee.

Q15. When do you deliver, set up, breakdown, and remove your equipment?

1. We work with the facility where your party is held. Usually, we deliver and set up in the afternoon 3 hours before your party starts, so it’s all ready when your guests arrive. When your gambling is over we quietly break down the casino and leave quietly so your party continues uninterrupted.

17. Can I rent just one or two tables?

1. Sure.

Q17. Do I have to use your dealers?

A.  No, many fundraising parties have volunteers to deal Blackjack.Remember, though this is a party atmosphere and your volunteers dealers are working, not playing. We often see the host save a few dollars by relying on guests to deal, only to find the guests would much rather play relying on guests to deal, only to find the guests would much rather play than work. You much use our dealers for craps and for Roulette.
